What is the cost?

We don't charge.  But if you donate what you feel your food and drinks are worth - it will help to cover our costs and allow us to be Open more frequently. 
Some events show a cost to cover the expenses.

Can I bring friends?

Please do not share this private website with anyone!  We offer this Open Invitation only to select friends.  Since The Rock is private, please email us to discuss the possibility of bringing your friends.

Can I bring dinner for myself?

Yes!  Come on over with your ready-to-eat meal.  Dinnerware available.

Can I bring my own drinks?

Yes!  Feel free to bring your own wine, beer or other drinks. 

Why is it called The Rock?

1. Jesus is our Rock on which we build a firm foundation.

2. We want The Rock to also be a firm foundation for building community.

3. We're musicians and music lovers.  Guess what our favourite genre is?

4. We think Dwayne Johnson is a cool dude.  (Okay, that's not a reason.)

5. We've been to Alcatraz.  (... also not really a reason.)

6. It's a short, catchy name.

What if I cannot afford to donate to cover the cost of my food?

Several "free meals" per month are covered by ourselves and donations.  Once those are gone you can still bring your own food and drinks along to enjoy fellowship with others.

Where is The Rock?

The location is available only to people that have received a personal invitation.
